Pepperstone Review

Introduction

Pepperstone is a renowned brokerage company. It was founded in 2010 in Australia, where its headquarters are still today.

It has a great technology that helps clients engage in highly volatile markets with high execution speeds on all orders. However, persuading a client would take more than great execution speeds to win a client’s trust.

In this Pepperstone broker review, we offer an extensive but short analysis of the same.

Regulations and Licenses

Pepperstone has worked hard to ensure the security of the funds entrusted to them by the clients that it has been registered under seven regulators.

They are registered under the ASIC, CySEC, CMA, DFSA, FCA, and BaFin, to name a few. These are some of the different regulatory authorities under which Pepperstonme is regulated in the different regions it serves.

In contrast, they have done little when it comes to their security for their clients. They do not offer negative balance protection or a stop loss order. These are services that clients can only enjoy from the EU or the UK.

Thus, they have done a bare minimum regarding account fund security.

Accounts

Pepperstone offers their clients two types of accounts: the Standard and the Razor account types. These two accounts vary in the amount of commission they are charged and the spreads.

The standard account is not charged any commission, but the Razor account has a commission of $3.5 per standard lot. The spreads for these two accounts also vary, with the Standard account having 0.3 STP spreads charged and the Razor account having no spreads charged.

They also offer a demo trading account that reflects the live market making it easy for beginning traders to try out their skills and grow them from there.

Fees

Pepperstone’s review determined that there are no deposit or withdrawal fees that Pepperstone charges. Also, it has no inactivity fee, which makes it easy for people who are seasonal traders.

On the other hand, they charge different spreads on different instruments they offer. The spreads charged on forex instruments range from as low as 0.20 to 0.60 on the Razor account and an average spread of 1 to 1.6 on the standard account.

The commissions charged are fairly low and depend on your trading platform. It will range from as low as $0.01 of base currency to $6 on the cTrader platform.

They offer fairly good leverage at the same time. Their leverage can go up to 400:1 which offers investors a chance to make more from their trades and have a higher trading volume.

Trading Platforms

So far, this company allows traders to use TradingView, MT4, MT5, and cTrader as their main trading platforms. These platforms are accessible to all the traders and can be found as web, trader, iPhone, desktop, and android applications.

The platforms are detailed with numerous features that allow for easy trading by Pepperstone clients. These include a list of indicators, take or stop loss levels, charts on multiple monitors, and social trading, among other great features.

Education and Research

Surprisingly, Pepperstone has a lot of trading education and research materials that the clients can use. These include a variety of videos, webinars, and reading material that is open to all clients. Their advanced platform capabilities and technology are updated, as the educational and research materials are regularly updated.

The company offers a trading platform tutorial to all its new clients, which is a plus, especially for beginning traders.

Customer Support

Testing the customer support in this Pepperstone review showed that they have active and fast replies across all their support stations. You can talk to support through email, phone, and the FAQ page. They offer quick and great replies to questions.

Sending an email will get you a reply within the day. Their phone is the easiest way to get them, but they take a while to respond. Their FAQ page is highly informative and has some great information about them which is a recommended spot for everyone to use.

Final Thoughts

A great reputation, user-friendly interface, and technology that is fast in executing orders make Pepperstone a favorite among the many traders that exist.

If you have questions not answered in this Pepperstone broker review, you can always use their FAQ page. They do not prioritize any of their clients. Therefore, whether you are a beginner or a professional, you can always find reliability with Pepperstone.
